Daniel Wolf Prize Award Winners
The inaugural Daniel Wolf Prize was won by Torsten Schaller on May 27, 2011 for his 2011 Cold Spring Harbor Retrovirus Meeting poster titled "Investigating the Role of Nup358 in Lentiviral Infection". His research showed that HIV-1 capsid mutants may use an alternative pathway to enter the nucleus of human cells. The prize has been awarded every year since for the best poster presented at the annual Cold Spring Harbor Retrovirus Meeting.
