There are no requirements for entry into the competition. All posters presented at the annual Cold Spring Harbor Retrovirus Meeting will eligible. A panel of judges will be recruited by the Daniel Wolf Prize Committee to evaluate the posters and select the winner during the meeting. Preference will be given for graduate students and postdoctoral fellows embarking on a career in any aspect of retrovirology. The announcement of the winner and the presentation of the cash award will be made after the end of the Friday afternoon session. 

The Daniel Wolf Prize will supplement (and not replace) the continued annual awarding of the Andy Kaplan Prize and the Uta von Schwedler Prize.
