Dominic Ritacco (Gaudet Lab) and Dylan Mariuzza (Arpaia Lab)

The Fall 2026 Microbiology & Immunology Research-in-Progress (RIP) seminar series continues this Friday, October 9, in HHSC 301. Please note that this week's RIP seminar will start earlier, at 2:30 pm (since there is a Micro/Immuno related session of the VP&S Frontiers in Research symposium at 3:45 pm). We have two exciting talks on cell type-specific clearance of protozoan (Gaudet Lab) and local TGF-β inhibition in anti-tumor immunity (Arpaia Lab):

Dominic Ritacco (Ryan Gaudet Lab)
Delineating cell type-specific clearance of a protozoan pathogen

Dylan Mariuzza (Nick Arpaia Lab)
Assessing the impact of local TGF-β inhibition and fibrosis reduction on anti-tumor immunity

Note: There will be no happy hour after RIP this week because of the VP&S symposium session that follows. The pizza happy hour will resume next week.

No photos allowed at seminars.
